Fat necrosis after colorectal surgery detected with Ga-67 imaging

摘要：

A 54-year-old woman with rectal cancer had persistent abdominal pain and fever after operation for days. A Ga-67 scan showed an area of increased radioactivity in the left lower abdomen. Fat necrosis was diagnosed clinically. After drainage of necrotic fat, the abnormal Ga-67 uptake disappeared on subsequent images.
