Paul wavelet-based algorithm for optical phase distribution evaluation

摘要
We consider a new application of the wavelet transform based on Paul wavelet algorithm to extract directly the phase from fringe patterns. We present a simulation study to demonstrate the ability of our method to provide, with a good accuracy, a phase distribution from a single image without unwrapping step. The numerical results are compared to those obtained by phase shifting technique. (C) 2002 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
