摘要：

Three sources of long-term wind and wave data are available in the Mediterranean Sea: numerical models, satellites and buoys. We make use of the overall information to obtain calibrated decadal time series at a large number of points, distributed at 0.5 degrees intervals. We discuss the accuracy of the three sources and point out the errors that affect the accuracy of the final results. (C) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
