摘要：

The synthesis of trimethylhydrazine hydrochloride provides a stable and safe-to-handle reactant for multigram-scale synthesis making the preparation of the tripeptidelike Novo Nordisk growth hormone secretagogue NNC 26-1089 in multigram scale feasible. NNC 26-1089 was synthesised over seven steps in an overall yield of 33%, with a stereoisomeric purity of more than 99% measured by chiral capillary electrophoresis (CE).
