The determination of sigma(LT)/sigma(TT) in electro-pion-production in the Delta-resonance region

摘要
The results of an out of the scattering plane electroproduction coincidence experiment are reported for the reaction p(e,e'pi(0))p. The cross section ratio sigma(LT)/sigma(TT) has been determined by fitting the data. Assuming M1+-dominance, the neutral pion production amplitude S1+ has been extracted relative to the M1+-amplitude. Systematic uncertainties were minimized by using a symmetric set-up and by measuring the whole azimuthal angle range, Three values of the amplitude ratios at and near the Delta-resonance have been extracted at a momentum transfer of Q(2)=0.127(GeV/c)(2).
