Globally coupled maps with time delay interactions

摘要
We analyze the dynamical behavior of globally coupled logistic maps with time-delayed interaction. It is found that certain properties of time-delay coupling could lead to the clustering at low couplings and the break-up of clusters (desynchronization) in the strong coupling regimes. It is also demonstrated that the system of two coupled logistic maps may exhibit multistability and on-off intermittency for properly chosen delay times. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
