摘要
The high electrical conductivity of Bi4Ti3O12 (BIT) ceramics is a major problem for the application of these ceramics in high temperature piezoelectric devices. Donor doping is a promising way to reduce the electrical conductivity. This work studies the influence of the addition of P2O5 (5at%) on the microstructural evolution of a BIT ceramic material obtained by a chemical route. P5+ doping controls platelets growth and reduces the electrical conductivity up to a certain sintering temperature.
