摘要
In this study the efficacy of cognitive-behavioral training programs for children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) was examined. 96 children, aged 7 to 13 years, participated in three centers. 31 children and their parents took part in the THOP training program, 34 in the "Training mit aufmerksamkeitsgestorten Kindern" program, and 15 children in basic training. Sixteen children were assigned to an untreated control group. The "Training mit aufmerksamkeitsgestorten Kindem" improved the ability to control cognitive inhibition and the use of phonological working memory. ADHS symptoms hardly decreased. Children in the basic training program obtained more benefits than those in the combined basic and strategy training program. The THOP training program just led to minor improvements in attention performance. The program brought noticeable benefits to the interactions within the families. Children with additional methylphenidate medication showed the best results.
