摘要
The synthesis and self-assembly of crystalline-crystalline diblock copoly(3-alkylthiophene)s were reported. The synthesis was carried out by a modified Grignard metathesis method (GRIM), while P3OT block was synthesized by polymerization of 2,5-dibromo-3-octylthiophene, followed by the addition of activated 2,5-dibromo-3-butylthiophene monomer solution, which produced the diblock copolymer system 'poly(3-butylthiophene)-b-poly(3-octylthiophene)'. Optical absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopies were used to investigate photophysical properties of the regioregular diblock copoly(3-alkylthiophene)s. It was observed that both composition of poly(3-butylthiophene)-b-poly(3-octylthiophene) in solution self-assembled into crystalline nanowires with widths of 13.5-13.6 nm and aspect ratios of 15-74. These diblock copolymers in the melt phase had the ability to self-assemble into a microphase-separated lamellar structure.
