摘要
Several polymer chemists made significant efforts to achieve perfection in catalysis and precision polymer synthesis of transition metal-catalyzed living radical polymerization. These researchers made such efforts between 1994-2000 and 2001-2008 to achieve perfection in catalysis and precision polymer synthesis process. Precision polymer synthesis for block, end-functionalized, star, and other polymers were investigated. The researchers focused on extension of catalysis into iron-based catalysts, extremely active catalysts, removal, recovery, and recycling of metal catalysts, and Living radical polymerizations of functionalized monomers Precision synthesis of functional polymers between 2001-2008. These trend shifted for metal-catalyzed living radical polymerizations and for living and controlled radical polymerizations between these periods.
