摘要
The indentation size effect (ISE) in high-purity aluminum and nanocrystalline aluminum-zirconium alloys was studied. Hardness was characterized using both microhardness and nanoindentation. With nanoindentation, it was possible to determine the hardness for indents at depths below 1.0 μm and to directly address the problem of measurement capability.
