Modelling of magneto-chiral enantioselective photochemistry

摘要
We present a kinetic model to describe the recently observed magneto-chiral enantioselective photochemistry when irradiating with unpolarized light and applying a static magnetic field. The model shows that both true and cascaded magneto-chiral enantioselective photochemistry occur and yields expressions for their respective magnitudes. Comparison of the predictions of our model with the experimental results shows good agreement. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
