摘要：

During the last ten years the development of the technology for methyl ester production from plant oils for the fuel application was fast. This paper gives a abort introduction into basics of methyl ester synthesis. Different production technologies like small agroplants or big oleochemical plants as well as batch or continuous processing are presented. Based on literature data some conclusions about European technologies available in the moment are given.
