Nanocrystalline α-MnO2 nanowires by electrochemical step-edge decoration

摘要
Nanocrystalline α-MnO2 nanowires are prepared by electrodeposition of MnO2 at step edges on graphite electrodes. MnO2 wires have an adjustable diameter of 40-150 nm, were 10-500 μm in length, and were organized into parallel ensembles of hundreds of wires.
