High-resolution ultraviolet spectroscopy of neutral and ionic clusters: Hydrogen bonding and the external heavy atom effect

摘要：

An overview is given on new developments and results of high-resolution UV spectroscopy since 1994. The selective excitation of high Rydberg states and their computer-assisted extrapolation allows to determine the series limits representing the rotational levels in various vibrational bands of the cluster. Results for the prototype benzene noble-gas dimers are discussed.
