Dendrite-Free Nanostructured Anode: Entrapment of Lithium in a 3D Fibrous Matrix for Ultra-Stable Lithium-Sulfur Batteries

摘要
Entrapment of free lithium in a 3D fibrous Li7B6 framework allows LiB nanostructured anodes with stable interfaces between the electrolyte and the electrode, which retards the formation of lithium dendrites. A lithium-sulfur cell with a nanostructured anode is created with a high Coulombic efficiency and high capacity retention rate of 36.3% after 2000 cycles. © 2014 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
