Phase determination in spin-polarized neutron specular reflection

摘要
New spin-polarized neutron specular reflection experiments to determine the moduli and phases of the full reflection matrix (non-spin-Aip and spin-flip amplitudes) are proposed. The method makes use of a reference layer and exploits the interference of the spin components of the neutron beam as a function of incident polarization.
