Two new ciguatoxin analogs, 2,3-dihydroxyCTX3C and 51-hydroxyCTX3C, were isolated from the moray eel Gymnothorax javanicus. Their structures including relative configurations were elucidated on the basis of H-1-NMR data. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
