摘要
This paper Presents an extension of a new, approach to select the truncation number for translation operators in a 3D multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA). Although en-or is harder to control in 3D than in 2D problems, this recently developed new approach provides better error control in 3D problems over the excess bandwidth formula.
