Magnetic multilayers on nanospheres

摘要
An approach that leads to the required properties by combining a nanoscale topographic pattern with magnetic multilayer film deposition was discussed. It was observed that the magnetic film deposition was carried out in a molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) chamber operating at a base pressure of 2 × 10 -10 mbar. The densely packed particle monolayer acted as a deposition mask leading to isolated magnetic nanostructures deposited directly on the glass substrate. The results show that the presented concept led to a realization of tilted nanostructure media that offered new advances in achieving higher densities following Moore's Law in future storage devices.
