Laser-induced material ejection from model molecular solids and liquids: Mechanisms, implications, and applications

摘要
The implications of laser-induced material ejection from model molecular solids and liquids were investigated. The very high transient pressures, temperatures and vapor densities affected the reaction processes and kinetics of aggregation for the formation of the clusters. It was found that the metal nanoparticles obtained upon solvent evaporation were disk-shaped with a diameter of 20 nm to 60 nm.
