摘要
The growth of self-organized nanotubes at the grain boundary of iron-nitride was demonstrated. It was shown that biasing promotes the growth of carbon nanotubes (CNT) where the growth rate of CNTs was much faster than the diffusion rate. A densely packed grain microstructure with distinct grain boundaries was also observed. It was concluded that self-organized and well-aligned CNTs could be grown on Fe-N layers.
