Face-centered cubic "supracrystals" of cobalt nanocrystals

摘要
The face-centered cubic supracrystals of cobalt nanocrystals were studied. The control of self-organization of the nanocrystals in the absence of an external field was a key issue in understanding the relationship between structure and magnetic properties. It was found that the supracrystals could be formed by slow evaporation of a solution of cobalt nanoparticles in hexane.
