摘要：

A synthetic approach to [LAI(OH)2] L = HC{(CMe)(2,6-iPr2C,H3N)}2) is described. A novel congener of boronic acid, the single-crystal X-ray structure of the complex is shown to be a dimer (see picture) displaying short Al-OH bonds, and exhibiting interdimer hydrogen bonding, the origin of which has been discerned by theoretical and spectroscopic analysis.
