摘要
The high speed modulation characteristics and performance in optical fibre transmission links of oxide confined vertical cavity surface emitting lasers are reported. The lasers have bandwidths of 13 GHz. Error-free transmission is obtained for both subcarrier modulated multichannel transmission and directly modulated digital transmission at 8 Gbit/s.
