摘要:
Time trials: A ruthenium (II) complex based on tridentate polypyridine ligands (see picture) featuring the longest luminescence lifetime (1.8 μs) ever reported is described. This new species has been obtained by applying the multichromophore approach, in which the various metal- and organic-based chromophores are only weakly interacting, so that their individual properties are essentially maintained.
