Molecular brickwork: Acetate-bridged dimeric copper(II) units (blue) are linked by [η4-benzoquinone)Mn(CO)3]- organometalloligands (O, red) in a squarepyramidal fashion to afford a metalorganometallic coordination network having an unprecedented 3D brick architecture.
