Rotational analysis of the vibrational hot bands of N2+ (A2Π2-X2Σg+) in the near-infrared region using velocity modulation spectroscopy

摘要
The A(2) Pi(u)-X-2 Sigma(g)(+) band system of N-2(+) has been studied in the near-infrared region using the velocity modulation technique and an Ti sapphire laser. The rotational structure of the (2,0), (3,1), (4,2), (7,4) and (8,5) bands has been analysed using a standard Hamiltonian model. Molecular parameters are reported. The ion rotational and translational temperatures were determined (T-rot = 400 +/- 60 K, T-trans = 911 +/- 84 K) and the vibrational temperature was estimated to be T-vib = 9400 +/- 1400 K.
