摘要
We present results for the temperature driven continuous and discontinuous reorientation of the magnetization in thin ferromagnetic films. A Heisenberg Hamiltonian including the magnetic dipole coupling and layer dependent lattice anisotropies is used to calculate the phase diagram of the polar reorientation within a mean field approximation for the magnetization. We determine the existence and the kind of reorientation as a function of film thickness and the second order surface and volume anisotropies. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
