摘要
The snake formulation of Eviatar and Somorjai has the advantages of bring both conceptually simple and rapidly convergent. We extend this formulation in two ways, by exploring additional energy terms whose interpretation is transparent and by using a simple minimization technique. The usefulness of the simplified model is illustrated using artificial images as well as images obtained with MRI, optical microscopy and ultrasound.
