摘要
Performance of the confined-reference coherence-encoding method for two- and three-dimensional complex image-data transmission through optical fibers is analyzed. Both acousto-optic and phase-only spatial light modulator implementations are considered. The signal-to-noise ratio, data rate, and probability of bit errors are issues that are discussed.
