Crystal structure and metamagnetic property of a 2-D layered complex, [FeII(N3)2(pyz)]n (pyz = pyrazine)

摘要：

In crystals of [Fe-II(N-3)(2)(pyz)](n) (pyz = pyrazine), two adjacent Fe2+ ions are bridged via two mu -1,1-N-3(-) ligands along the c axis to afford ferromagnetically coupled linear chains, which are bridged via mu -pyrazine ligands along the b axis to afford 2-D antiferromagnetically coupled layers; these competitive magnetic couplings lead to the occurrence of metamagnetic behavior.
