摘要：

In this paper we compare the properties of two concepts that are often used to value risk transformations: The willingness to pay (W.T.P.) and the risk premium. We show that-in contrast to a widespread belief-some properties of the risk premium are not shared by W.T.P. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
