Matching boundary-fitted grid generation to physical boundary conditions with applications to natural convection problems

摘要
In this article, some techniques are proposed for automatic mesh generation that facilitates the application of the physical boundary conditions. The techniques are applied to some natural convection problems. The Navier-Stokes equations are expressed in terms of stream function and vorticity. Numerical results for natural convection between eccentric cylinders are in agreement with those of Projahn et al. [11] and those for the square loop are more reasonable than the results of Ramos and Castrejon [8].
