Imaging, not imagination: Three-dimensional (3D) images can be constructed from a set of 2D data acquired by desorption electrospray ionization (DESI) mass spectrometry. The 3D images show the spatial distributions of specific biomolecules in substructures of the mouse brain (see picture). (Figure Presented) © 2010 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
