摘要
Iron-boron and iron-chromium-boron coatings have been produced by alloying and superficial melting of steel using the plasma transferred arc process (PTA). The microstructures of the alloyed surfaces consisted of needlelike borides and eutectic regions. Both coatings presented high hardness and excellent wear resistance. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
