摘要
Analyses the links between flexible labour regimes and the distinctive labour worlds of Asia and Mexico, discussing a number of readily available studies conducted between 1970 and 1990. The author first argues that industrial modes of domination go beyond strictly construed production relations, highlighting new techniques operating through the control of social space as a distinctive feature of postmodern regimes. Secondly, workers' struggles and resistances are suggested to comprise individual acts against various forms of control, rather than actions based upon class interest or solidarity. -P.Hardiman
