摘要
It has been reported that some polyesters can be sensitized by various dyes and absorb light at a wavelength of 488. 0 nm. In these polymers, conjugation played an important role in the reactivity at longer wavelengths. This stimulated the authors to design a higher conjugated polymer in order to realize improved photosensitivity to the visible light of argon ion laser even in the absence of any sensitizer. The study resulted in a novel photocrosslinkable polyester of p-phenylenebis ( alpha -cyanobutadiene carboxylic acid).
