摘要
A tracking detector with a capillary bundle filled with a liquid scintillator exposed to a 40 GeV pi- beam has been investigated. Image intensifiers have been used to amplify optical signals from the detector. The information was read out by a CCD. The obtained number of hits per unit track length n0 was 13 mm-1 with a straight-line RMS residual sigma-tr congruent-to 43-mu-m. The track impact parameter precision was delta congruent-to 7-mu-m. The two-track resolution was 100-mu-m.
