摘要
We investigate the coupling of an axial rotor and a single particle with spin and with orbital wave functions restricted to a single harmonic-oscillator shell. Coupling coefficients for interesting subgroup chains are derived. Eigenstates of a quadrupole-quadrupole interaction are obtained analytically in a spherical basis and we show that these eigenstates are related to su(3) basis states in the limit of large representations. Other interesting limits are also discussed.
