APPLICATIONS OF A CAPILLARY BASED X-RAY MICROFLUORESCENCE SYSTEM

摘要
A capillary based X-ray microfluorescence system with a spatial resolution of 30 mum has been described. The system has been used to perform local analysis and elemental mapping of geological materials, individual particles and fused glass disks which can be used as reference materials for microanalysis. The relevant results are presented.
