摘要
Copolymers of acrylic acid (AA) and 2-acrylamido-2-propane sulfonic acid (AMPS) with hydrophobic monomers such as lauryl methacrylate (LM) have been prepared by free-radical polymerization and their behavior in aqueous solutions investigated. In particular, the phase-separation behavior of copolymers has been studied as a function of temperature, degree of neutralization and ionic strength. Also, conformational transitions which occur when acrylic acid copolymers are neutralized have been studied by potentiometric titration.
