摘要
The stability range of the PrMnO//3 phase is not known yet and no thermodynamic information is available, although the formation and some properties of PrMnO//3 have been reported by several authors. Some rare earth manganites are known to decompose into the respective rare earth sesquioxide and manganese monoxide at appropriate oxygen partial pressures. In this letter the oxygen partial pressures at the decomposition of PrMnO//3 are presented from 1173 to 1473 K and some thermodynamic quantities are derived from these results. The measurements were carried out by means of electrical conductivity.
