摘要
Antimony is electronegative with respect to these transition metals and as a consequence electronic charge is transferred onto the antimony. The weakening of metal-metal bonds leads to grain boundary embrittlement. Additions of nickel and chromium to iron should increase the embrittling strength of antimony but should not enhance grain boundary segregation.
