Over the period of 1985 through 1990, there have been numerous papers published on the subject of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Expert Systems (ES) applications at nuclear power plants. A selection of these papers is given herein, arranged in the following categories: General Descriptions of AI/ES Techniques, Specific AI/ES Applications, Knowledge Base Development and Modelling Techniques, Maintenance and Diagnostics, Operations and Training Support, Procedural Assistance and Emergency Response, Risk Assessment and Reliability, and Design Tools.
