摘要
Analysis of the latest information on the Na+-linked energy transductions indicates that these processes are ubiquitous in living organisms. It is inferred that the existence of the Na+ cycle side by side with the H+ cycle plays an important role in the adaptation of the living cells to changing ambient conditions.
