摘要
Sintered CdS pellets have been prepared and used in photoelectrochemical oxidation of formic acid with a simultaneous evolution of molecular hydrogen. The pellets have been additionally surface platinized by photolysis of hexachloroplatinic acid. The effects of Pt deposits and light intensity on the rate of hydrogen evolution have been tested. A comparison between the sintered semiconductor and its suspensions has been made.
