摘要
In order to demonstrate the usefulness of a method developed for automatic growth, molybdenum single crystals of diameter 0.7 cm were prepared from polycrystalline rods of diameter 1 cm. The heating power was computer controlled on the basis of the changes in the r.f. current caused by the changes in the zone shape. Crystal rods of length 12 cm were thus prepared by an automatic zone pass of duration about 6 h. © 1990.
