摘要
Small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering and DSC were used for investigation of the crystalline structure and the main features of melting and crystallization of polymer crystals in pores of various sizes. The polymer used was characterized by the comparable sizes of the structural element and the crystallization volume. This choice made it possible to determine experimentally the interphase crystalmelt energy, the radius of the critical nucleus and the size of microphase below which the crystal is not formed. It is shown that the use of porous matrices with invariable structural characteristics is an experimental procedure permitting successful investigation of surface and size effects. © 1990.
