摘要
Current theoretical models in calculating pair interatomic and averaged interaction potentials with solid atoms and their applications in radiation physics are discussed. Side by side with well-known traditional static approximations the nonstationary theories and quasistatic generalization of the electron gas model accounting for the relative motion velocity upsilon(1) of atoms are considered. Moreover, the ionization effects and dynamical screening of potentials by electron gas are taken into account. Detailed comparison of theoretical and experimental results is made concerning the energy losses, ranges and multiple scattering of ions in solids, energy losses of heavy ions at planar channeling, channeling radiation lines of relativistic electrons and positrons, etc.
